Yup, you are right.
I don't have anything in particular on my to-buy list, so I'm completely open to any suggestions. If I don't already have it and can see myself playing it (no sports/fighting/shooters), I'm game.
Also note: the $15 game only needs to be at least $10.02 (to put us at the $100 mark), but I wrote $15 to make the distinction that a $9.99 game would be a few pennies too short. If we went with two PS1 games ($11.98 total), that would work too and would be very slightly cheaper. A $9.99 game could also work if we threw in an avatar to bump it past $10.02, heh.
Just throwing some ideas out there; I'm interested in any of these:
- Megaman 9 + 10 bundle ($15)
- Journey ($15)
- Risk Factions ($15)
- Fat Princess ($15)
- two $5.99 PS1 classics ($11.98) -- some examples I'm especially interested in: Klonoa, Saiyuki: Journey West, Arc the Lad, Wild Arms 1
- X-Men - the 1992 arcade game ($10?)
- Tomba - PS1 classic ($10)
- Vagrant Story - PS1 classic ($10?)
- Akimi Village ($10)
- Rocket Knight ($15)
- Penny Arcade Adventures 1 & 2 bundle ($15)
- Rayman 3 HD ($15?)
- Tales From Space: About a Blob + DLC bundle ($10)
The new Toe Jam & Earl re-releases would work for part of the $20 too, at $5 each (released Nov. 6, so they wouldn't work as part of the $15).
As you can see, I'm a big fan of PS1/PS2 classics and other retro games, as well as various PSN download-only games.
I emulate all my non-current gen games unless the PSN re-releases are the definitive versions (up-scaled to HD, trophies, etc.), so I'm not keen on PSOne or PS2 Classics. I own both Mega Man games, Journey, X-Men, and Rayman 3 HD. Let me throw out a few suggestions:
- Unfinished Swan (I'd really like this to be the $15 game, it releases on Oct. 23rd)
- Wonder Boy/Monster World series
- Toejam & Earl
- Revenge of Shinobi
As you can see, there aren't too many games I'm interested in.
