Well thats great, was getting freezing issues on PS3, read about fixes online due to curiosity.
Read about Defrag-ing PS3 HDD. it doesnt delete any major data (just messages and playlists)
 
Did it.
Chose Restore File System.....scan located corrupted data...attempted to fix it, all was good till 46% where it says there was a problem and the only fix is to Restore and format the drive... there was no "No thanks" button ... rebooting PS3 gave me the same message at boot up .... -sigh-  right when I lifted my policy on buying Phantoms, this happens... f**k.

I think what Pravado and you suggested a great idea. I know that some people are lazy or don't have time but i think we should give it a try, so i made a public Google spreadsheet.
I added other columns that i think are useful and will help on finding/forming groups/slots.

Probably will not long last but it didn't cost me any time or money(lol) to do this so let's go. Here's the link:

No, i was expecting a platinum either. Imo even w/ just 2hours or so, any kojima's product it's better than the majority of the other PSN games that have platinum trophy, so it should have it.
I mean, the lenght of game shouldn't be a parameter for trophie lists. Other example, is Journey, i just played the game last week and you can finish it on 30-40 min but i think it deserves a platinum too, it's amazing game and one of the bests i've played on PS3.

PS: @Trophy, good initiative however i think is much work for just one person to update this large ammount of information.

So, like is said a public sheet where people can edit your own info would be more funtional. Also would be easier to find games since you can use PC search function - F3 button(i'm using Chrome idk if is different with other browsers)

@Revanchist: Thanks. I'm quite disappointed that no one said anything about openly posting the info (to a newb) until you did. I saw the post shortly after it was made, but decided against PMing/posting as, to be frank, I'm tired of doing it. I'm thinking of just ceasing any dealings with members who openly post the info.

@4thHorseman: I considered something like that, as well as asking mods for a GS sub-forum, or just creating another thread that would list what was being sold/sought after, but each time, I'm reminded that there already is a thread for gamesharing. Sticking with the posting idea, you fail to consider that quite a few members are either lazy*, can't be bothered to read**, or both. For example, I've noticed Clone's listings (the old format, not the new one) have had several errors (mainly, groups that were completed being shown as not completed) as of late, more than likely due to the concerned members not letting Clone know of the changes (that, or Eorzea is the cause).

Step 1: A member asks a question that can be answered in minute or so with a Google search.

Step 2: I don't know, say 90% of the time, RPG responds in a short amount of time with an answer, an answer that more often than not, either includes a link to the PS blog, the online store or playstationtrophies. 

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2.

**I'm not knocking members for this in general. I know many members don't check the thread that often, but when the concerned info is on the same or last page.......

@Yanks: I'm not going to tell you how to run the feedback thread, but at the very least, I suggest you no longer log feedback if specifics aren't mentioned by the buyer/seller. If site feedback is seen as unsatisfactory if it is of the form 'A+, great trader', with no mention of what was bought or sold, then so too should gameshare feedback be viewed. One of the reasons why Shadowlombax was able to get away with the crap he pulled is because of the vague posts that were made. A mention of what was bought or sold, and of what kind (r,p) would suffice. By those leaving the feedback, not you.

@Cap'nTek: Why not build a combo and report Peru-lover as well? He admits to being Locoxx, and even if his situation just needs to be sorted out with mods as he claims (I doubt it), he pretended to be a new member, instead of contacting mods to begin with.

@Boosted: Please tell me I read it wrong or you missed something. If not, you have shamed this site like no other, lol. You are a horrible cheap ass. If another member is in debt to you for even $5, you should cut off all deals and make it public. Also, why the hell would you go first for any amount of money when you were owed $400? Anyway, best of luck to you in recovering the funds.

@Pravado or any other member of the library: How does it work? Not the joining, but the actual process of borrowing and lending out games. Say Cag P and Cag R each donated a game of a high caliber. Let's also say Cag P is interested in borrowing what Cag R donated, and vice-versa. How do the members get access to the other's game? (In as much detail as possible, feel free to PM me)

@The dudes who are compiling lists of sellers/buyers: Until I see how it works, please leave me out of the listings. I tend to edit my posts within minutes of a change, so it could get annoying, having members PM me for items that have already been sold, for example. Great initiative though.

@Clone: Did you get that thing I sent you? In regards to Origins.

@The guys who were going back and forth with that idiot Sagimi: What part of 'don't engage, but report the trolls' don't you understand? Once you see a guy is full of it (like 3 feedback awarded within minutes of each other), stop replying to them. I'd quote the mod, but I don't want to risk summoning him.

Cag A and Cag B decide to go 50/50 on a game. Accidentally, Cag A deletes the user associated with the content and decides to give ownership of his slot to Cag B, with Cag B able to get Cag A's slot after several months have passed. Cag C happens upon this info, and lets Cag A know, that contrary to what he and Cag B think, he can recover his slot. Upon hearing this news, Cag A, though reluctant to stir the pot, agrees to try and see if he can reacquire his slot. However, when he asks Cag B for the account info, and is told it is the same as before, Cag A is unable to log back in. Cag B still has access to the account, but not wanting to cause any more trouble (?), Cag A decides to let it go.

Can someone give me a reason why Cag B should not be called out to explain themselves?

If you go 50/50 on an account then even if you delete the user why would you give it up you have every right to be able to log in and recover it period. The way I see things if you have a resell of an account then you should have some say so as to who gets to buy that resell if other holder wants to sell or at least be given the option to buy them out if you don't like who they are selling the account to.

This seems to be where some of the problems occur selling accounts to new people and them stealing the account.

This is why I tend to buy most of my games on steam when they are on sale. If the price difference isn't that much I'd rather have my own copy and not have to worry about someone stealing the account.

So happy as always to have your input Raiborg. You are always such a breath of fresh air. Personally I will begin by saying that I didn't miss anything to begin with but I am missing something now. Let's play out the timeline for you. PS4 available for face value by a member that I have had a good working relationship with, I pay for the PS4 plus some accessories. Between payment and receiving of the PS4 that same member is offering PSN credit in the marketplace thread, I choose to buy the credit because I buy/host a lot of groups. The next day the credit is never sent over and the first excuse comes about how his friend spent it. Red flag goes up and I ask for the money back. Supposedly the money is already spent so he will have to give it back ASAP. However, I am being assured that the ps4 is paid for and will be at my door on release day. Release day comes and goes without the PS4 showing up. Then I get the second excuse that he didn't have the money available to pay for it and had to cancel it. The conversations continue about how he will pay me back and those payments are even paid in the beginning. The final conversation was on January 31st, almost 2.5 months after PS4 release date. I could have been a dick about it right from the beginning and call him out for the situation but it wouldn't have happened here because it wasn't gameshare related. Also I tried to work with him in the hopes of getting my money back. I was hoping that he was a person for his word, obviously not. I am a person of my word and I choose to believe that people will do what they say. Many people are more skeptical but it takes all kinds in this world.

Now regarding me "shaming this site" and being a horrible cheap ass gamer you can go fuck yourself on that one. I was buying a PS4 at face value or below and PSN credit at a pretty major discount. This was when PS4's were selling at 700+ on eBay. The person that shamed the site and is a horrible cheap ass gamer is GamerDad08 (Stephen Burg from Woonsocket Rhode Island).

Maybe you should have asked why fmills15 didn't call him out in the thread for screwing him over on a gameshare. I think it was probably because fmills and I still held out hope that GamerDad was going to come through on his word. That he would do the things that a real man would do, the he would be upstanding like he should be teaching his 2 daughters to be. That is probably why we didn't call him out.

If that is my biggest fault in life is trusting too much in people than so be it but thanks for letting me know that you care.

Allow me to clarify: I was under the impression you were screwed out of the $400, and then paid up front for the credit. It seems I misunderstood. As for saying you shamed the site, that was a joke, and was in reference to you being quiet about the $400 I assumed had already been stolen. All hell should be raised if even $5 is up in the air, is what I was getting at.

Fmills15 did bring up gamerdad several weeks ago, can't exactly remember when. I don't see how a member of the thread potentially stealing $400 is not relevant to the thread, even if the theft doesn't involve gamesharing.

Edit: There we go: 'The credit situation happened between the purchase of the PS4 and release date so there was no reason to be skeptical'

No idea why, but I either completely missed that line, or it didn't register. Either case, simply pointing that out would have been enough.

Posting this again. I get that this thread moves fast, but I try to not spam the thread with group requests. As a result groups just posted get filled immediately just because someone saw it just then.

Looking to start a few groups and potentially pay for them during the spend $60 get $10. If there isn't a lot of interest in getting the extra $10 than we can wait until closer to release to purchase.

Sorry for the hostility but it is a hostile situation to begin with. Obviously it has all been shared in the thread now and the tone of your writing seemed like and attack. Just nerves and slight anger still there I guess. No ill will towards you I just read it as hostile towards me was all. :D

That was more than two months ago when I said he owned me money in the thread. Many probably just read it and kept it moving. That is understandable. There are still games to played and shared and I didn't go on the attack about it.

But yes, I wanted to believe that Gamerdad would man up and find a way to clear all of his debts and gave him a reasonable opportunity to do so. Some people keep there word, some don't. That is just the way the world works.
 
Hey guys! So aparently the PSN Store is going to let us rent games.

This is a pretty neet thing, as we can't always get timeshares(especially for older games) :D

EDIT: We can already do this, just update the PS Store and you can now rent video games :)
