So I was just thinking

If we can have max 100 activated accounts at once, if I were to hit that 100 limit with mostly phantoms, wouldn't i be screwed since i couldn't deactivate the phantoms?

No...because a phantom isnt actually an activation. Your technically deactivated, but your PS3 just doesnt lock the license for the game because you dont ever log back into the account, so it cant. As far as the PS3 knows from whats downloaded onto the hard drive, your allowed to play the game. As soon as you were to log into any of the accounts you are phantomed on though, it would recognize that your license for the game is gone and no longer allow you to play the game.

If you delete a resell while it's activated, the slot is still taken up. Re-activating will not take up an additional slot - it will only re-enable the license. Some people will delete the user while it's still active in order to prevent their slot from being sniped while they don't have it on their system as 1 of the 16 users.

If memory serves, Usuyami was the one who said this can be done for up to 100 activations.

If you delete a user associated with a phantom, it's the same as deleting a user associated with a resell (the difference being one can be recovered), so, if say after 100 activations the user is prevented from making any more, than yes, Pravado, or any one else who had that many, would be affected.

The question is, what happens at activation #101? Do some earlier activations automatically get deleted, are further activations prevented until the total is brought below 100, or is it something else? Even in the unlikely event that further activations are restricted while there are 100 on the system, those affected could just sign in on some old shares and have the network automatically remove the activations.

I suggest you ask Usuyami what happened at activation #101. I believe he mentioned what happened, but I don't remember, and I can't bother digging up that post.
