I miss my paladin too :( I logged out in fishing equipment on a shore near the BE starting island. He still sits there, eternally fishing and enjoying his retirement from the tanking days.

PS: I still think tanks must be crazy. Imagine that, you see a freaking huge flaming brutal looking creature, towering above you. Every sane person would just sneak around, but nooo...you CHAAARGEEEE. And then get hit with a club/clawed/stomped on. The pain is unmaginable, you cannot even cry, you just want to die so the pain stops. Then you see light, a light greenish/golden flash and somehow, your broken bones mend, the blood stops leaving your body, your intestines are in you again, you feel great! And then the club comes down again :(

Hours of hours of pain and suffering, i dont think one can stay sane after that.

Thought i had a mushy retirement I went back to Silvermoon City and kneeled in front of Lor'themar Theron pledging my allegiance to him and Quel'Thalas It may seem weird but using a toon for so long 5 yrs for me being a co founder of a guild of 300 active members that shit is hard to walk away from. But I did it Always remembered the time about 3 other guilds formed an alliance to f*ck up Stormwind. There were always Narcs hiding in the Horde who would switch characters back to alliance and set up ambushes when we attacked.

Good F*cking times man

Haven't been in this thread for a long while, does anyone know of the cheapest way to get Metal Gear Solid (MGS1), or would I just be better off paying $10?

Giant Bomb is doing a play through of MGS1 and I'd like to start with that game before getting myself into the HD collection.

I actually just finished watching the MGS: Twin Snakes movie on youtube a bit ago. That was a very ridiculous 3h45m. MGS2 HD finished downloading and is installing at 34% right now. I've never played one and am looking forward to it, though after watching Twin Snakes I'm expecting it to be hilariously bad.

Man, I loved MGS Twin Snakes when I was younger, but... it is ridiculously cheesy now that I look back at it.

MGS 2 is a borefest (to me). It just has a lot of important stuff for MGS4.

Twin Snakes was a little over the top compared to the original MGS on PS1. I still remember that ridiculous scene where Snake jumps on a launched rocket and lands on both feet riding it.

He didn't land on it. He used it to launch himself into the air and then fired a rocket launcher at Liquid Snake's helicopter.

The rest of the stuff was worse, though. The whole thing with Meryl was crazy bad from beginning to end with Snake constantly checking her out, hitting on her, and then falling in love within the space of 2 minutes and then running off together at the end? Especially when she's the niece of his old war buddy or whatever, so there's gotta be a huge age gap, and she says she had mental conditioning to kill her attraction to men as well. That was pure gold. Also silly was how Snake had some weird emotional connection with every one of LS's henchmen and sat to watch them die or whatever. The bit about that idiot scientist being an otaku was just bizarre. I'm still trying to figure out why they showed him pissing his pants twice within cut scenes only a minute or so apart.

I hope the gameplay in the HD set is better than the plot and characterization, because those two components are terrible.

I have the Legacy Collection =) and just put the DLC(MGS 1 and VR missions) on a separate account of mine. If you both want i can phantom it for you guys.

Also any other vet willing to start playing the best series ever i can borrow it, just send me a PM

With resells you can activate the account and come back later when got some space on your HD to download.

In case of not remaining too much users off of the 16 maximum permited, you can activate the account then erase the user, it will keep the acc. activated. Just return it to your PS3 when you wanna access it again
