I've pretty much stopped updating the list of people who lost phantoms. At this point, why bother? A list of people who still have them would be easier to manage...

As of right now, I sill have all of mine. It's a shame that everyone is losing theirs. I know I'm just gonna wake up the next morning and have locks on mine. :fridge:

 
Good to see you back, if only to pop in, Boosted. I can't speak highly enough of the group. I'm darn glad I saw the original post you made about it back before the PS4 launch. It's been awesome and, like you said, we didn't get touched by this at all.

On a personal note, I finally lost my phantoms today. Nothing major but it would be nice to get Destiny back if anyone has a resell for a decent price?

Did your phantoms get locked simultaneously?
 
How long after the update to 2.50 did the locks happen?
 
Have you made any new phantoms since the incident?
 
If yes, have they been locked as well?

(I won a bunch of PSN cards at a fair and dont need these and was gonna give this to a friend but he backed out >.>)

Still have all my phantoms. Synced trophies, nothing lost.

My system is NOT activated as a primary, i always must be connected to play on my main account. Idk, maybe thats the issue?

You have account(S). So more than 1. Why didn't you gave the PSN codes to your friend or sell the codes instead? Why would you add all $150 to 1 account? This doesn't feel good to me after I got scammed recently.

So if anyone's buying this, make sure to get the email account too, along with date of birth of the PSN and everything. Change all the security info of the email if you buy this. Try forgot password on PSN and request a new password by putting the date of birth in the password reset form to verify the date of birth.

But also chat with Sony and confirm that's the exact email that used to create the account. Pay by PayPal, as per goods with an address (by sending extra 3% to cover the fees). Don't send gifts.

I got scammed with a PSN account for $70. He contacted Sony and reset the account to the original email. So changing email didn't matter. He wanted Steam cards for the account. Anyway, I called my bank and reverse the payment and got $50 back. The other $20 I used it on Steam before he use it and bought Ori.

Doesn't make any sense. Why not sell the PSN cards straight?

I made a phantom of Bloodborne after 2.50 update.

Let see how long it will stay alive:)

Steps:

1. Download and activate on console #1

2. Deactivate in menu on console #1

3. Download and activate on console #2

4. Access data change (email and password)

5. Download locked slot on console #3

6. Access data change (email and password)

7. Reset the account

8. Access data change (email and password)

9. Account have one slot available. Waiting

I highly doubt fair's in Egypt of all places will give out prizes amounting up to $150 PSN Codes. Fair prizes in England aren't even THAT generous.

ALSO ITS ON ONE ACCOUNT, MY BAD.

I know its stupid, but its what happened.

Long story short, I won a bunch of PSN codes so me and a friend had an idea of sharing an account (we agreed on what games)

i funded ~65% of the account while he funded ~35%. Then when the whole phantom/update thing happened plus the fact he had some stuff going on, he backed out.

So itd be cool if he could get his money back, and might as well convert the PSN money to real money.

So if you want the account, you could actually take the account first then pay....

And we've done a transaction before =/

I didnt borrow the account at that time coz I didnt have enough funds on my paypal (30 + 2) and it would take a while for funds to get transfered from my bank.

So i just decided to sell some of the games I have. Think i made about 4-5 successful transactions with the buyers getting the information first.

 
Not trying to fuel the fire but didn't someones console get banned for buying a pre funded account that ended up having stolen credit card info tied to it. I wouldn't touch it if you value those things..

If I remember right, Snakey was the only resell in the group I was in (I was a phantom). If anyone has a way to get ahold of him, he might still have it, maybe.

Yup it was me but I actually got banned because I messaged the account owner to change their info when I found out that I had bought a stolen account, but still this sounds very fishy. I don't want to accuse or judge the person if he is lying or not but be cautious everyone because as franpina said above there is the possibility that the account may be loaded with stolen credit card.
