Yeah Pravado also told me its dead when i asked about it a while ago, so its probably not going to be working again.

Did you hear that Sony is planning to discontinue the PS3 this summer?

I wouldnt be surprised if PS3 games stop too, PS3 has lived a long 10 years now.

In November 2010 the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) created a powerful supercomputer by connecting together 1,760 Sony PS3s which include 168 separate graphical processing units and 84 coordinating servers in a parallel array capable of performing 500 trillion floating-point operations per second (500 TFLOPS). As built the Condor Cluster was the 33rd largest supercomputer in the world and would be used to analyze high definition satellite imagery.

PS3 was a tiny supercomputer, a monster that Sony priced correctly (599.99) but the gaming community didnt think that was fair, we voted with our wallets and taught Sony they cant price things that high.....where the hell is the boycott on DLC and Season Pass prices?

Unfortunately, all content featured in DLC/Season Passes, is too good to pass up for most. Creating a successful boycott for those would be a big task, it only really worked when Street Fighter X Tekken already had this content on the disc, just not made available right away and sold as DLC.

edit: If I had more funds I would just send everyone in my group a PS4 version and let them have at it. Wouldn't that be nice? Lol. SilenceDaTruth from gamefaqs is giving me at least some hope though.
