It is, its a bit frustrating. Thermal Scopes are awesome on the non-dlc night maps, they are extremely useful. Just wish my submachine guns had em. :cold:

Also, is there a ladder match at some point today? Or tomorrow?

There is indeed, tonight at 10 eastern, Crossroads Demo, the opposing clan does have about 8-10 people that play the game regularly, so they might show up. Its going to be close if I can make it or not, I will try my best.
 
Yeah, my mistake. It just seems like the Cold Front maps at night are that dark. Being forced into night vision, which in turn forces you into a zoomed in OTS view pisses the hell out of me.

In the process of joining the match, but having issues with my mailbox. Keeps freezing the game. Common problem for people?


SOCOM states that you guys filled up the room. Good luck guys. Give them hell.
 
We won the ladder match, good game guys! Started out with 8 of us against 7, but the other clan lost 2 guys during the match.

I've had my mailbox freeze the game once using the pop up shortcut from the main menu, but I don't think it has frozen up on me going through the community section.
 
I feel like my ps3 freezes up on socom at least once a day. Only happens on socom, and not my other games. I have had this happen to me only on socom, and one of my other psn games.
 
Damn I was so happy to get off work at a decent hour to come home and play. Got a few games in but tripped on my internet cord and got dc'd. Im about to get on at 2pm for a marathon session all dasy. Hope 2 see some soldiers on.

SMGs - Custom Supressor
Pistols - Custom Blue Laser (adds 4 accuracy bars)
Machine Guns = Custom Scope?

CUSTOM WEAPONS (Unlock #2)
Pistols - "GLADYS":A Gold DE.50, but with 1 additional bar of damage.
Assault Rifles - "ALICE": A Custom Camo HK36, better stats
SNiper Rifles - "TILLY": A Custom SR-25 with Snow camo. Has faster fire-rate, More damage, and more accuracy.
 
Smog and I decided for at least a little while tomorrow night, were going to have a custom password protected room. So post any combination of map/modes you want to play, preferably the new maps, but I don't think anyone would object to playing an old map or two.

The upgraded Shotgun is a USAS12 wiht better range and damage and front grip..Not gonna be fun to run into one of those
 
My bad guys. My stupid ass mic froze in-game during the ladder match. That's twice already today. :cry: Btw, did you guys win? We were up 3-1 on fallen demo.

My PS3 froze in that QM from the mic glitch. Which sucked b/c the #1 rank up was in there & I wanted to talk smack after murking him..It was that shinobi cat
 
#-ounlocked custom suppressor for smgs, and looks really lame. It lowers your volume a tad more and "sacrifices less distance while allowing less sound to escape from weapons fire"

Doesn't seem worth it, anyone using this?
 
Actually, I'm using it as well. I also think it's a bit lackluster compared to the other unlockable attachments. I'm just looking forward to the SMG "Motoko" (which could be a reference to the anime Ghost in a Shell). Though I've noticed it's a little harder for people to spot me if I start firing on their blind side. I would have to test the distance and what not before the enemy can see the red on their screen.

I'm going to be a little late for the party tonight. However, we did win our ladder match. All thanks to Mr.B wishing me luck ~

son of a bitch. ive been trying to sort some psn account issues out and hadnt bought the dlc. got it straightened out last night and missed the $10 launch price.
 
I got this DLC but haven't played yet. The Christmas game haul is killing me, I just got NHL 10 for 360 (goodbye world). I'll play some Cold Front soon though, so you'll see me on.

Should of teamkilled the dude (guy who killed the hostages in QM) when I had the chance, lol. I knew he was going to kill those hostages.

Good games tonight fellas even though we were off our game a little bit. Although that Arms Run game was impressive since we were outnumbered the entire match and the opposing clan was pretty good.
 
I tried out that AK-107, I liked what I experienced, I think I'll give it a shot after I get my TILLY. I'll stick with my M4 for clan matches, but with that custom front grip I think I could make the 107 work.

I think I'm down to about 5/6 guns left that I don't have a kill with...

The game forgot my loadouts/characters/controls AGAIN, thankfully it didn't erase my specializations or points towards my rewards, then I would have been really pissed.

I'm liking the 107 as well, though I can't handle it without a front grip. Unfortunately/fortunately, I dropped my SMG and Pistol and traded them in for Snipers and ARs.
 
My system froze during the breach game that is going on as I type this out. Oh well, lets get two wins tomorrow. Getting closer to that TILLY...
 
My game froze as well, but during the Vigilance extract game... Me thinks it's the game... Oh well, great games guys and I look forward to more games tomorrow... er tonight....
 
Smog & I appologize in advance for filling your socom inboxes full of crap over the next day or so, but you all know its for a good cause. Just remember its much easier to delete messages on the socom website then one at a time inside the game.
 
Fun games last night, too bad I had to leave right as it was getting to the DLC stuff. I would have liked to try a snow map not at night, too.

Also hahahaha I almost died:
You should apply at Slant 6 games. They dont do any work over there and just laid off a bunch of people apparently
