Thanks for the show... your review of Snake-eyes was hilarious. I'd listen to a movie review podcast from you.

@wombat you'll be pleased to know there ARE reboot(s) of Elevator Action.

There was one in the 90s that sucked.

There are 2 modern Japanese arcade games. I played this one in my arcade in Dallas, and it's batshit crazy, like House of the Dead but with actual elevator doors that are built in to the action:

Elevator Action Death Parade

Turns out there is also this one, which I haven't played:

Wombat, I think the game you were thinking of was Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. This was the EA marvel fighting game that came out back in 2005.

Cheapy, will you be jumping back into Warzone when they release the new map? And have you watched the final season of Lucifer?

Guardians of The Galaxy took me by surprise, all the trailers and presentations i had seen made it out to be something i would not be interested in. It was only when people on other podcasts i listen to started talking about how good it actually was i started paying attention to it.

I think it has some of the best writing and voice work in any game this year. I personally did not enjoy the combat very much (though it gets better when you unlock more skills), but love every thing else around it. So from my point of view i was happy that the story bits outweighed the combat.

16 hours of fun.
