Can I claim a pre-order bonus code on a PS3 not my own?

Right now I don't have internet access on my PS3.

I still got the Tales of Graces pre-order bonus code, but can't claim it (until next month).

I was wondering if I can claim the code by having a friend use my PSN account on their PS3 and entering it, or if it -has- to be my PS3. Does it save in the PS3 or in PSN?

the code doesnt expire till next year, so you can wait. If you have to use it now do it on the sony website
