Can Wii wifi = GCN BBA?

Odd question here and I'm hoping someone will know the answer.

With the Wii, will one be able to use the built-in wifi in lieu of the GCN broadband adapter for games that supported that peripheral? In otherwords, can the Wii's wifi be used for things like Mario Kart DD system link and PSO online?

HIGHLY doubt it, i think your chances are slim to none.

I doubt it. Geting the Wifi to emulate the BBA would be too much work for a handful of games.

Seems extremely doubtful that Nintendo would do this. However, fans are resourceful (look at things like Warp Pipe). I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone wrote software to fit on a SD card or something that would allow the Wii's Wi-fi to emulate the GCN's BBA.
