I was lucky to jump on the Drawn to Life sale at $10, and I have a Rock Band: Lego.

So all in all, seeing as I got my RBL for free at old navy, I'm at $50 for the whole deal, plus tax. I can't argue if I get in line nice and early

Well if that list holds true I'll only need to pick up 2 games to get this. It's very tempting, thanks for the heads up OP. I'll probably pick up a couple games tomorrow and then hope for the best on Sunday that none of the values drop.

Does anyone on here think that they'll drop the values Saturday night? Meaning if I go in on Saturday and the values work for the games I have that I shouldn't have any problems on Sunday. Thanks

I thought the XL was for old people who couldn't see well? Why would you want something bigger, heavier, less portable?

Anyway, off the top of my head, this is cheapest bunch I can come up with.. not including $4.99 games that are impossible to find at BBV

I am working sunday morning and I have a school work meeting scheduled already for the afternoon...

It is better this way I suppose, I won't have to go hunting for games.

TripleQ list seems good to me, I have 1 copy left of Drawn to Life, TMNT and Shawn White shall be easy to find.... Brutal Legend could be found for X360 (PS3 copies are probably at BBV now!).

Are all Best Buy's accepting Trade-Ins now, or is it limited? Even if I have to buy all my titles for $19.99, it's still worth it for a $100 DS XL.
 
I have no interest in a DSi XL. However, I already have around 8 of these games...but I'd rather not get rid of most of them.
However, I could buy those 9.99 games at Futureshop and Brutal Legend. Then I'd only have to get rid of 3 of my own.
They can't change the eligible list of games can they?
Do you guys think I would get a reasonable amount of interest in a DSI XL if I put it up on my trade list?

I have the unfortunate luck of being located in Toronto. I'm going to stay far away from Dundas and Yonge Best Buy though.. I suspect that will be the busiest location in Toronto by far.

I don't NEED one but I want one. The bigger size is attractive to me since I mostly play at home, and I'd love to have access to the DSiWare games.

But since I'm okay with my Lite...I'm not going to risk going all the way to Gatineau only to have to drive back to Kanata with nothing. Surely at least 20 RFD'ers (and CAG'ers) from Ottawa and Gatineau are gunning for one.
 
I'm conflicted about what time I should show up.. at first I was considering an hour early, but now I'm down to 8am.. but maybe 7am is better..

Yeah, I have a feeling all the RFD'ers (many of whom live in Ottawa it seems) will be camping out for those DSi XLs. It's not worth the attempt.

Depends on how badly you want one heh; I think the Best Buy's in Ontario open at 11am, so being there at 7am would give you four hours.

Do any Ottawa Best Buy stores even trade in games yet? I don't even see one listed in the participating list. I guess they'll be driving over to Gatineau?
 
If I'm the first in line, how I do make sure people don't try to usurp my spot, and form their own line? I know there are some tricky bastards out there!

When the Wii, and Nintendo 64 launched, there was already a huge line up by the time I was there. I think this will be more similar to the Gamecube launch, where there's just a few people huddled around the door prior to opening in a not so organized fashion.
 
Just a warning for those trying to get in on the deal. I tried to trade three ($9+) for God of War 3 on March 20th and the TIV for Brutal Legend was only $7. Street Fighter 4 which was reported as $15+ TIV recently, only came up as $8.

Bring lots of extras in case they don't qualify because I suspect the list to be just a lazy copy/paste job.
 
I just wanted to give it to my brother. He wanted a new DS for a while; he's still running a Phat. I really don't care what DS I get, just as long as I can play some SMT: Strange Journey. So likely I was goning to give him this one and mooch the Phat off him :)

RFD is going nuts over the list though. Some guys are saying that list isn't correct.
