Alright, the Americans have a wiki page with all the EB Games trade-in values and I figured we might as well start one for the Canadian EB. It's good reference for if we ever want to sell our soul or maybe take advantage of loopholes in their promos! I'll try and keep the list updated as much as possible.

If you have info to add, please do so in the following format:
*Game Name - $# - Month Day, Year
For example:
*Sonic Mega Collection - $8 - September 29th, 2006.

Group them by system please!

I have too much EB credit in my hands, so trading for a new Wii on guarantee (I had a launch Wii) made sense considering current $150 TIV for the Wii and TIV for games-accessories that comes with the «new» Wii.

I did not want to pay too much of a premium for a Wii in new condition, I took a black one to change, but it did not matter much.
 
Anyone know if there is a way to copy files like smash bros and Animal crossing to an SD card?

Also any idea if you can just change the Wii console your club nintendo acct is linked to to a different one?

Planning to get rid of my launch Wii as well in preparation for the Black one
 
Bugger, don't want to lose those. I may end up driving it to Nintendo HQ and getting them to transfer everything over like the last time (they used a special disc and cable), but that means I have to wait until the black wii comes out, GET one and then trade my old one in for (most likely) less credit.

The 150 TIV on a Wii is great! I was able to trade mine last week for a PS3 after my local EB finally received a shipment of 3 whole units.

Traded in:
Launch Wii - 65.00 + 85.00 Bonus = 150.00

Was able to pick up

was still left with 16.00 something used to pay off T2 on RDR/ and rest went to Alan Wake CE.

No, that's just how the promo is counted on my receipt. The TIV of the Wii is at 65.00 with this months promo adding 85.00 credit. You can use it towards anything. I just chose the PS3. This promo doesn't have the same restrictions as before. I'm thinking the trade in just has to go through in order to get the bonus 85.00 added.

Didn't trade in anything today, but picked up the fruits of my labours. Hooray for super gaming tuesdays. Now what to play first =)

If you follow the RFD threads regarding trading 'turds' for consoles deal at EB, it would make a lot more sense. Lots of turd flippers trying to trade in unopened games and doubles.

I always traded my games on the Monday and they always dropped on the Tuesday. (again, 95%, some exceptions)
