Cell Phone Unlocking Question.

Idk if this would be in the wrong board or whatever but..

My friend has a Verizon RAZR that I would like to buy off of him. Only problem is, I have T Mobile. I know of those unlocking services online, but would it be possible to unlock a verizon phone to work on t mobile?

tmobile uses sim card. verizon use tdma or cdma or something like that. but, i'm for sure verizon doesnt use sim card.

In toronto most cell phone stores would unlock other phones. It usually was 25 bucks. I think the reason this was so common was the fact canadian phones sucked, and so many phones were bought from the u.s., europe and hong kong.

But they had no way to transfer t-mobile and verizon phones. Verizon phones, at least the ones I know of, don't have sim cards while t-mobile phones do. They weren't compatible with the normal method at least.

Yep Verizon is not on a GSM network. No sim cards for them.
