I just received the CW PS2 Singstar Bundle from Amazon 10 days deal.

The finish is a matte, I thought it would be very smooth like the CW PSP.

Anyway it's SPCH-79001. isn't that the same as the PS2 Slimmer?
 
So what do you think of the singstar bundle so far?

I was thinking of picking this bundle up or a silver slim.
As far as I know I have no idea if that is the same model number as the rummored slimmer model.
 
It's a nice bundle. I really like the CW color, I also have the CW PSP.

Comes with Singstar POP and the 2 Microphones and the single USB adapter.

I picked up Singstar ROCKs at EB today for $15.99 ($19.99 - 10% coupon - 10% edge). Wife really likes the singing. I'm busy playing God of War finally :)

It's basically Version 16, not the redesigned one coming out in 2008. Mine has a power brick.
 
Version 16? Wow. I didn't know how many versions of the PS2 there have been. I knew of the following ones: 30001,30001R,33001,35001,39001,50001,70001,72001(second slim model I believe),75001 and the 79001. That's only 10, so where did I miss another 6 models?
 
See though, I only count the US releases, since I've never imported. Although, I completely forgot about the 70012 and other versions in that range.

I just know that the slims seem to be better constructed than the 'fat' models were. I knew many people who had rampant DREs on the fat models. My one buddy had 4 systems, one to play each type of disc(blue CD PS2,PS1,Gold DVD, Silver DVD).
