http://www.x360a.com/news/news-4747...-Support-Coming-To-Xbox-360-On-April-6th.html

You may remember a while back, we reported on potential plans to bring support to Xbox 360 for USB Storage devices. Well now it's been officially confirmed.
Any two flash memory sticks between 1GB and 16GB can be shoved into the Xbox 360's USB slots, giving you up to 32GB of added storage.
A system update implementing the new USB function will arrive on April 6th, enabling you to connect memory sticks, which you'll then need to configure in the system menu. You can simply use 'Configure Now' to format and configure your device for sole use on your 360 or 'Customise' to choose how much memory you want to allocate to your Xbox 360 saves.
Microsoft has also announced a partnership with memory manufacturer SanDisk to bring an Xbox branded USB stick, pre-configured out of the box this May.

With the announcement of Xbox360 getting USB support, anyone know where to get 16gb flash drives at a good price?

I *was* looking on ebay, but the second hit was an ebook on how to avoid Chinese knockoffs and all of a sudden I didn't trust ebay very much...

Wal-Mart (B&M) had some Sandisk Cruzor 16GB for like $24... might be ymmv though. Amazon has em listed for about $30

**Also, they tend to have cheapy PNY 8 GBs for $15, so that may be worth looking at as well...

The cheapest ones I found were listed at Best Buy and Newegg.com.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+16...uId=9598991&st=16gb usb flash drive&cp=1&lp=1 - $32.99 for an HP drive

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...tion=16gb usb flash drive&bop=And&Order=PRICE - Bunches of them starting for $29

You can go for the office supply stores as well but their online prices right now are pretty bad. If you do go anyway, look for a clearance table or section to see if you get lucky there. Same goes for Target if you happen to go there as well.

If you don't want to deal with online shopping and you happen to live near one, try Fry's. Their prices on the name brand stuff seems to be comparable to the online prices for Best Buy & Newegg.com.

Wat, i just bought a 32gb and it won't be supported, i have been looking for a 16gb Sandisk Cruzer though, you can find these for like $30 on ebay anyday, and sometimes someone will have them for $25, these are the best ones IMO.

As far as I know, your 32gb will be supported, but you'll only be able to use 16gb of it.

The 32gb will be supported. From what I read the 360 will need 512mb for system files and take up to 16gb to make available for the 360. The rest will be available to other devices. If you were looking for a 32gb drive to use for both 360 and personal stuff buy.com has this one for $60:

Not sure if there is a Bing cashback codeword that will get you a bit more off right now from buy.com.

I don't know if they still have frequent sales, but I know Office Max usually had one brand of 16GB flash drives at $20 every week.
