Cheap Action Replay or Gameshark for Xbox?

I just bought a used xbox on ebay and I want to softmod it. I checked Gamestop's website and they don't even sell them anymore.

try ebay. Keep in mind if you get gameshark you need to get a memory card separately.

What he said. Also, DealExtreme used to sell it a while ago, worth a look around, although I don't know if they do anymore.

I ran into this problem when I softmodded my xbox. I didn't feel like paying for the action replay. I instead had my dad make a xbox to usb cable. I found a guide on xboxscene. All you need is a broken xbox controller and a USB cable. This is only good though if you have someone who can solder.
