I picked up a "Game Elements Wireless Wave" controller today for $5 at Five Below (east coast only). It's actually not too bad, it has two analog sticks, 2.4 wireless, and dual vibration motors. Uses 3 AAA batteries and comes with a pretty nice software package including calibration and its own profiler program that can be assigned to different .exes. It installed and ran in Sonic Heroes and GTA III without any fiddling. On the downside, it's pretty cheap and the analog stick calibration is too narrow/twitchy, and the z-axiz/z-rotation (right stick) were backwards in both games. That might be fixable with some work, I dunno. But for $5 it's not a bad alternative to a $40 Logitech or $50 360 wireless.
