Cheapass help with music files

CAGiversary!
Hey I need some help finding a good program that will translate .flac files to mp3s. Anyone know a free one I can download somewhere?

I couldn't find anything free there. I found one that sorta works. But it only will translate up to 3 minutes of a song, which kinda sucks.

What's a FLAC file?
Just curious cuz I'm tryin to find a program for you
Penguin? Hello?
Sorry distracted by Partypoker. A flac file is a type of lossles audio file, that is huge. It also won't play in iTunes, which annoys me to no end.

Check suprnova.org for a torrent

You can use this FLAC frontend to convert to WAV: http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm. Just drag the FLAC files onto the window.

You'll also need the FLAC codec, which is available here (the frontend uses the codec in the conversion): http://flac.sourceforge.net/

Once you have the WAV files, you can use any of a number of programs to convert from WAV to MP3. For example, I use Musicmatch Jukebox to play my MP3s, and it has a WAV to MP3 (or vice-versa) converter built-in.

Read more about FLAC on the Internet Archive: http://www.archive.org/about/faqs.php#96

I use Xilisoft Audio Converter, and it seemed to work when I converted from m4a to mp3. FLAC was on there, so it should work. Only annoying thing is that something pops up after each file asking you to register it, but you get unlimited uses, so it's only minorly annoying...

Anyways, just another option in case that one doesn't work out...
