just grabbed Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Elite Beat Agents for $8.96.

I never played any on the PW games. Is PW: Justice for all at $15 a good deal or is there any deal better somewhere?

PAing in Hawaii may be a different animal than PAing in Nevada or Arizona being that it's not on the mainland. I would suggest you do it before you go and then ask at a CC in Hawaii just so you know for future reference.
 
Picked up Homecourt for the PS3 today, rang up at $8.99 or whatever. Also found a mismarked copy of Heavenly Sword in the bargain bin for $30. Woooo!
 
Why does my CC suck so much?
Oh wait, I live in an area with mostly geeky young males and no women to entertain them. (Silicon Valley)
 
Picked up a copy of Bullet Witch ($8.96) from the Foxboro, MA store. They had about 3-4 more copies as well as a bunch of copies of Sylpheed. I also saw an Okami (on the shelf, not the clearance bin) and a bunch of DS games.

As an FYI and a big WTF, check how much Karaoke Rev. Country is fetching on ebay. WTF??? I remember this past summer you could get the bundle on ebay for less than $30 easy.

It's insane how popular the Karaoke games are. This past Monday I found some Country bundles at TRU I could not believe my luck.:)

Yeah, I wanted to see the reviews first. I wasnt sure of the game play so didnt want to buy it just for buying it. Been out of console gaming for awhile so I am out of the loop on a lot of games.
 
Got back $5.50 for Custom Robo and Sylpheed. (I had paid a bit less than $16.96 due to the $15 off $100 coupon). He also checked pretty much everything else on my receipts so here's a few more still ringing up $16.96:

However, they did have Elite Beat Agents and FF Chocobo Tales for $8.96 displayed prominently at the top of the DS section (though marked $16.96). Being the utter cheapass that I am, I can now return my $13.30 copy of EBA to Kmart. Yay!

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my now even cheaper Project Sylpheed. I was considering returning it when I paid near $15. At $9 I can keep it and give it a shot. Same with Custom Robo, actually, though I probably would have kept that anyway - now it is a no-brainer.

The CC store that has hooked me every time in the past has been: 1) organized and all price tags are correct/up-to-date, 2) picked clean since Xmas. Got my Bulletwitch price adjusted, and went to buy Project Sylpheed, Tiger, NBA, and Icon...but there were only tumble weeds blowing through my once beloved game section. I almost bought Bomberman so I wouldn't leave empty handed, but luckily my two year old son laughed at me when I picked it up and I got my senses back. Fredericksburg, VA CC is now dead to me.
 
Price adjusted Elite Beat Agents and found Eyetoy Kinetic for $8.96.
No luck on adjusting Metal Slug or Elebits. Will try again after Sunday....
 
Snagged :360: Project Sylpheed, :ds: Elite Beat Agents, and :ds: Custom Robo Arena each for $8.96. Also wanted :360: Bullet Witch, :ds: Children of Mana, and :ds: Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright, but they were nowhere to be found. :censored:

picked up bullet witch today. last copy left. There weren't a whole lot of old gen titles there, so i doubt i'll find anything during sunday's clearance sale. ever since our CC moved and opened in a new section of town, their clearance games seemed to have vanished. I'm hoping its in the back somewhere and its up for grabs this weekend!

Is there a new % off clearance sale starting the 6th? I haven't been reading this thread. Shame on me.
 
I managed to find both Bullet Witch and Project Sylpheed for $8.96 (minus $0.89 for gamers savings club :) at my local CC in San Diego. They had 1 copy of BW left after I was done.
 
picked up a few but could not find college 2k7 ps3 and children of mana. I have a elite beat if anyone wants to trade or I will pay shipping for any of the two ps3 games thanks OP.
 
Hmm, I'm tempted to pick up Chromehounds at that price but I remember reading that game is pretty much useless unless you have a crew to roll with in MP.

Nah, that's not true. The game has a short but fun single-player campaign that is well worth the $8.96. I mean, for $60 it wouldn't have been worth it - but I'd say the game is a good pickup even for single-player only for anything under $20.

I think I put about 15 hours into getting all 'S' ranks on the single-player missions, then played a bit online with the CAG crew which was fun but it died out quickly. I believe you can still go online by yourself, but that wouldn't be as fun as going in with a team. But in any case, it was well worth the $15 I paid for it at Best Buy several months back.
 
Listen up, I was at CC today and a friend of mine showed me the upcoming ad for this Sunday (1/6/08) I believe those games are going to be $8.96. That goes for those that are listed at $12.96 and up as well. I picked up Bullet Witch, Chrome Hounds, and Chili Con Carnage; all for $8.96. So this list may need another update.
 
Now that my son also has a DS, I find I can't just pick up one game w/o thinking whether or not I should pick up two. Would it be a good idea for either Custom Robo Arena or Lunar Knights? CRA is more his type of game, can't really see me playing through that heavily, while LK is more my speed. One of each and go for singlecart multiplay? I'd like to play CRA w/ him, not sure I'd care for the whole singleplayer campaign...

The question is, is it just a subset of the $16.96 games being reduced to $8.96 or all of them? It would seem to be only some of them since the ones in the ad are already that price but others are not. But things could change of course...
 
Is def Jam YMMV, because I went to a CC in Manhattan today and it rang up about $30 and its the same on the website, although I picked up Sylpheed for $8.

Project Sylpheed = $8.96
Parappa the Rapper = $8.96

They were out of Bullet Witch. Price checked 2 others

Monster Madness =$ 19.99
Call of Juarez = $29.99
 
I just went to CC and found:

Elite Beat Agents: 8.96
Project Sylpheed: 8.96
Okami: 16.96

There was plenty of Elite Beat Agent and Project Sylpheed. I got the last Okami though.

It seems to be only some of them, unless they change a bunch of prices on Sunday.
