Since this is another vague Circuit City sale, I figured it would be a good idea to make a list of the prices that everybody is finding. I checked a few games and this is what I came up with so far. It looks as though most $19.99 games are just ringing up as $14.99 and the $9.99 games are $4.99. It's a small list because I forgot what games I checked, but I'll probably remember some more and add them later. I included the games that were in the ad as well.

Call me crazy, but I like these vague sales at CC. This way the games do not sell out in minutes like at Best Buy when they actually changed the price tags. Only those in the know get to take advantage of these great deals.
Anyway, I believe someone said in the other thread that SSX3 is 14.99 so you can probably add that.

Here whenever people add more games I will edit the original topic and we will get one big list.

I picked up:

Zelda: Oracle of the Seasons (GBC) - $15
Wipeout Fusion (PS2) - $5

I also saw (all PS2):
Whirl Tour - $5
Ford Racing 2 - $5
Evergrace - $5

The ones I got were marked $5 above what I paid so I assume that the ones I saw are those prices (they were all marked $10). The Jampacks were marked $5 and rang up $5.

Edit: And ET for the GBC was $5.

The vague part is that all games are $5-$20 off. This list is to help people know what games are ringing up as. Circuit City isn't exactly the greatest at marking their games correctly, so this could be helpful. I know I'm going to go back and grab a couple of the $5 games that I didn't know were that price when I was there earlier.
most of those prices were advertised in today's sale paper. Not exactly vague, if you ask me :)
You're telling me. If it's not lazy coworkers it's the antiques we use for price-tag guns. I try to make sure most of the tags at my store are up to date, at least in the game dept. The other people can worry about dvd/pc markdowns (although I've been known to swing by and get those too). There were a veritable SHITLOAD of cheap PC games though, and most CC's should have a sale tag out for pretty much EVERY PC game in the store, I know we did...

EDIT: I checked several random titles throughout the day and it seems to me that every game is $5 off except those that are specified in the ad as being discounted more than that (LoTR, Fight Night, Halo, etc.). I'm pretty sure that Full Spectrum Warrior and the other games that had a gift card offered are also $5 off as well, making them $45 with a $10 gift card, which is a great deal. I'll check tomorrow to confirm it, unless someone can do so sooner...

REREAD THE THREAD JAMMR!! $5 off.

PS I work at CCity and I can tell you ALL games, for EVERY console and PC are $5 off.

SSX 3, SMC, and Metal Arms $15 each? i'm gonna go get them, plus i might pick up Evergrace. i always wanted to try that game.

Er, wait... I had Jet Grind Radio for GBA scanned while I was at CC earlier, and it came up $19.99 instead of the $24.99 it was marked. That $5 off thing didn't occur to me then. D'oh!

-Hoshi

Panzer Dragoon has been 23.99 for a while now... so I reallyi don't see the 5 dollar thing applying. I've been keeping my eye on it since my CC only has one left... wanting to pick it up cheap -- but like I said, it's been 23.99 for months now.

Very strange.

If a game is $9.99, subtracting $5 makes it, oh shit!... $5.

Picked up Freedom Fighters PC, Wild Arms 3, and Umjammer Lammy for $5 each. Beyond Good & Evil for PC was marked $15 in-store, probably making it $10 at checkout.

-Hoshi

Beyond Good and Evil is 14.99 for the Xbox.

The Temple of Elemental Evil is $9.99 for the PC.

So PS1 games are included as well? If so, I guess I'll have to pick up the Final Fantasy games I've been holding out on.

Me: Can you pricematch these games....err.....price check them.

CC guy: Pricematch up front.

Me: Umm....yeah, I meant check the price of these games.

CC guy: Umm...they all should be what they are marked.

Me: Umm...Can you please check, becuase I know sometimes ( )

CC guy goes to CC girl. Asks her. She checks them.

Skies of Arcadia marked 49.99 rings 39.99

The End

I picked up Voodoo Vince [XBox] for $14.99 today. Not a bad deal at all for a cool platformer with plenty of style.

I was kind of annoyed that they aren't carrying Metal Arms anymore, though. It's not available online either.

Wipeout $4.99 (marked $6.99 -- hoped it would come up $1.99)
Alter Echo $4.99
Pryzm $2.99 PS2

If anyone could get an extra MetropolisMania and/or Shenmue II . . . I'd pay you or trade one of the above (I'll throw in $1 if you want Pryzm)

Ron

I also saw

Whirl Tour
Ford Racing
