I wish to apply for the citibank credit card and get the $100 gift card towards the purchase of a Ps3, but I was wondering if anyone here has signed up for it. How long after you signed up did you get the card and how long after do you get the gift card? I'm new to the whole credit card thing, so please be patient with me. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If this is the citi rewards card, you get it about two weeks after your first purchase or so. Remember, you have to request the giftcard--they don't send it on their own upon earning the needed points. I have had the citi rewards card for over three years now and have gotten like four 100 dollar best buy giftcards with it and have zero complaints on the card. I did, however, just switch to the citi cashback card in which, instead of earning points, you obtain cashback dollars with which they send you a check for. I like this better since you just get the money rather than a store-specific gift card.
