You can check codes only for games you registered already. It will say "You registered this game already" - otherwise it says "This code is invalid/used"
 
I have 2 Nintendogs, Pilot Wings Resort and Steel Diver 3DS codes. I want anything for XBLA.

for the european localized sites there is a way
add the code on the site without logging in to your account. if the code hasn't yet been used you will be asked to fill some questions. Quit that form and the code will be fine
If the code has already been used you will receive an error message

from what i remember from the american site, you can only redeem codes after creating and logging to your account, and there isn't any kind of confirmation or prompt, either the code is valid and immediately redeemed, or you'll get the error message

As of this writing, I have 770 Coins in my Club Nintendo account. If you see something you like (See Rewards Here), let me know. If we can work out a deal, I can place an order. I'm pretty sure I can even have them ship to a different address. If not, I'll send it after I get it.

I also have some extra, unused Club Nintendo PIN Registration Codes. They're up for grabs as well. Keep in mind, you can only earn coins once per game. I'm very open to trading for PIN codes from games that I have never owned. I may not find rewards that I like, but I do like the Platinum status rewards. *PLEASE NOTE: I have already hit my Club Nintendo Platinum Status for 2012. If you want to trade codes, you must know that I will most likely not be redeeming any of them until July of 2012. So... Am I an idiot or a genius for just realizing you can register multiple copies of the same game in sub-accounts of one family account? The coins all get pooled together and they seem to even contribute to Platinum status... Doesn't this mean there's little to no point in trading codes?

I trade codes because coins expire if they go unused after 2 full club years. I don't redeem many of them. I just like the platinum rewards. Just one account for me.

I have a question regarding about the Platinum status:

I have enough points to qualify me to the Platinum level, do I have to manually do anything else for them to ship me the Platinum prize later on? And if I used the points to redeem some prize, I'm still consider in the Platinum status level right?

The club Nintendo year runs from July through June. Any points you earn during that amount of time qualifies you for that years elite status reward. The reward for that timeframe is usually mailed out in November or December and there's nothing else you have to do to receive it, just earn the points. You can spend those same points on anything else you want on the shop and still get the reward at the end of the year. There is a spot on their website that will tell you your elite status for this year. Check it and as long as it says that you're currently platinum, you're good to go and you will receive your reward sometime late next year.

Are we allowed to trade Hardware codes? Because I have an extra 3DS code; gotta love Christmas. Anywho, I'd like 3 games from either system for it. Once the trade is complete, I'm going to go sell the 3DS.

EDIT: If you offer me 3DS games, I don't want Nano Assault, MK7, SM3DL, or Star Fox. I plan on getting those games soon, anyways. Thank you. :)

EDIT 2: I also already have OoT3D. So, don't offer that either.
 
I have an extra code for Ocarina of time, since me and my girlfriend both bought a copy.
Since I can't redeem the same game twice. I have an extra Ocarina of time code to trade for a code I don't have.
 
I have an extra Mario 3D land and Mario Kart 7 code I would like to trade for 2 codes of the same or greater value. I don't need any of the codes from any of the clearance Bestbuy games, I got all those. I guess PM me because I've never traded codes on here so I don't know how it's done.
