I feel that I am pretty up to date with all the games out thus far for DS..but, it never hurts to ask.

Resident Evil is the only DS game to offer co-op play?
Me and my friend are bored (OUT OF OUR MINDS) and want a new game.. that's co-op. I don't mind vs. games, but sometimes it kicks ass to play with someone else, compared to always competing.

With Resident Evil (I actually NEVER played a RE game. Don't hate lol I just never was appealed, but I always slightly was. I don't know WHY I never begun to pick it up..meh), is the co-op like.. an actual story mode? Or is it like "How many zombies can you killer together before timer runs out LoLZ111??!?"

Besides that--anything else out that offers a co-op storyline???

ALSO, any Gamecube recommendations would be greatly appreciated too. Same aspect: Co-Op. Not sure I feel about co-op FPS though.. Never got into them. ALthough might lean towards the RE:DS if people say its good. But yeah, either DS or Gamecube games that are FUN and co-op.. ??

Thanks :p

these are all for gamecube:

xmen legends and xmen legends ii are good, deep 4 player co-ops.

gauntlet dark legacy is also 4 player co-op and simple to pick up.

super mario strikers is pretty good co-op for up to 4p. it's better than most sports games for co-op because you can advance through the "story" mode playing multiplayer. can't remember if you can do that for the gc tennis game.

also alien hominid has 2p co-op and 4p co-op for the PDA mini-game (200 levels!)

lego star wars is 2p co-op.

if you have the gbas (and cables), you can play zelda four swords and final fantasy crystal chronicles.

Wait, wait, wait... REDS has a co-op mode?! Do both people need a copy of the game to take advantage of the feature?

It's some sort of co-op mode so I've heard. And yeah, I'd like to know as well if it's single card and/or multicard.

If it's a TRUE co-op experience, as in.. completing the adventure together...chances are it's multicard.

Nah I use lilboo and have the "TM" next to my name.

Has anyone played multicart RE yet?? Good and worth it? I never played RE, and i dont think my bf has either...so.. good idea to get 2 copies or nah?

I think the multicart REDS was good for the 20 i spent on both games.

I didn't get to finish the wohle thing, but I had fun in Coop solving puzzles and trying to help each other.

I will copy the multiplayer quide from GAMEFAQS so you can get an idea of what coop is like.

NOTE: This is for the first level only. The game in multiplayer without a guide should take 4 or 5 hours if you are good.

1. Introduction
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Multi-Card Play is the most exclusive game mode in Deadly Silence.
In order to play this you'll need another DS/DS Lite and another Deadly

Good with heavy weapons.
Enrico Marini:
Above average stats.
Jill Valentine:
Large Item capacity.
Rebecca Chambers:
Great at first aid.
Kenneth J. Sullivan:
Masterful knife expert.
Richard Aiken:

All characters have 6 item slots with the exceptions of Jill and Forest
who have 8 each.

Jill and Chris are unlocked from teh start. The rest has to be unlocked
by completing the maingame in various modes.

The battle mode features 3 levels with two modes. The modes are as
followed:

Versus:
Defeating yellow enemies makes the enemies of your opponent stronger.
Defeating purple enemies will prevent your opponent from running for
a short period of time.
Only one person can take items from blue boxes.
Each player faces the same enemies which have their own life bar, means
if Player 1 kills enemny A,this enemy is still alive for Player 2.

Co-op:
All players share the same life bar.
All enemies sharethe same life bar, means if Player 1 kills enemy A this
enemy is also dead in the other players game.
When you're in the same room with all of your allies your weapon icon
gets a red alingment which results in an attack bonus.
You can leave items in the chest to have others pick them up, you can
pass items to other players in that way.
Only one person can take items from blue boxes.

Other tips:
-In this part of the FAQ i will mostly refer to one player,in co-op
you should stick together though
-In order to finish a level in Versus Mode you have to survive
-In order to finish a level in Co-Op Mode all players have to survive
