COD 3 Keeps turning off my PS3

Hi I am hoping someone here can help me. I have COD3 for PS3 and everytime I play it within one minute the whole console shuts off. I called sony they told me to call activision and activision told me to call sony other than COD all my other ps3 and ps2 games work fine
 
i even retuned the cod3 game and got another and got the same results I have upgraded my ps3 to the most current software as well
 
Man, that is really weird.
I'd hate for you for you to go the trouble of replacing your PS3.

Is CoD3 worth it?

Could be a heat issue... maybe try ventilating the system a bit? Standing it on the non-heat pipe end perhaps?

I set my Ps3 up vertically so I can get maximum heat dissipation. :)

I just set it up vertically since it saves space and b/c I can :p


That is weird though, I was planning on getting COD3 for the PS3 as well :whistle2:/
