Commodity trading games - buy low, sell high, build fortunes.

Anyone a fan of old commodity trading games? Games like Tradewinds, Drug Wars, Gazillionaire, Sea Trader, etc?

I used love playing games like that - buy low, sell high, build fortunes. Are there any modern ones out there? The DS would be perfect for a game of this type, but it seems like they've faded away in recent years.

I seem to remember "GTA : Chinatown Wars" having a small mini game which was somewhat similar. I don't believe it was very in depth, though.

Man, with the ability to easily connect to the internet, a game like this could support a huge community.

I cannot recall, however, any recent releases that would fall into this type of game.

Good question. Lots of RPGs implement some type of trading system to make some easy money. (Suikoden) And Red Dead Redemption did this to a degree, but I don't remember it being a great way to make money. Tropico 3 might have something similar.

Can't think of any games where this is the main focus.
