COMP USA back in business?

It looks like Comp USA is back in business. 30 stores opened up in the US and apparently every single display computer has internet access that you use check the prices at other retailers.

The CompUSA name and some store locations were bought out by TigersDirect when they closed down. So this really isn't anything new.

ah no.. Tigerdirect bought them out and is using their name. Honestly the emails of Compusa never stopped since they were bought out... I still get those awesome deals Compusa email flyers...

There was one right next to the best buy over here, they closed their doors around december 2007

Yep. As others already pointed out, the rights to the CompUSA brand were bought by Systemax, the company behind Tiger Direct.

I wouldn't mind if one near me opened up... there's no competition for BB in my town. We had a Media Play, CompUSA, and Circuit City and now all 3 are gone. There's no Frys around here either.
