Computer newb question

I need a video card and have no clue what to get or if it will work for my PC. I have done system checks and says that I dont have Video HW Transform & Lighting and Vertex Shader Ver.
I have: system a year old
2 processors running - Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
CPU speed: 2.79 GHz
Ram: 1014 MB
video card: Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset Family (Intel(R) GMA 3000)
I just want to play Crysis and Battlefield 2142, maybe gears of war. Any idea on what I should get would be helpfull. Links to the stuff would to great to.

First, figure out what kind of a graphics card slot you have... see picture here.

Then, find out how much power your power supply can output and the amps on the +12V rail. To do this, turn off your computer, unplug it, open up the side of the case, and then look on the side of your power supply- that should tell you the max power and amps. It'll look kinda like this.

Figure those out and we can go from there.
