connecting my 360 to my pc, HELP!!

so for the past couple weeks i have been trying everything under the sun to try to get my 360 to recognize my pc so that i can stream my media to it. opening firewalls doesnt work, downloading Orb2.0 didn't do anything, and i am getting really frustrated. I have windows xp home edition and share my internet connection via a router (the router splits my internet bw pc, 360, and wii). PLEASE HELP!!! i'm out of ideas and need help from you guys!!!

did you go into windows media player and allow your 360? i think it's under library, then media sharing.

Ya, you definitely have to tell media player to share to your 360. When I did it, it didn't work at first, but I rebooted PC and router and 360, then it recognized the stuff in "my videos".

Totally agree with xtchuh about TVersity.

Got my 360 last week and set this up a couple of days a go with no hassle at all.

Plus streaming Xvid to 360 like XMBC is a bonus

Give google a search for it and I'm sure you find a guide to set it up.

thanks, i'll try TVersity...yeah i've told WMP 11 about a thousand times to share my jank but it still doesn't even give me the option to select the 360
