I myself for some reason am a huge fan of Lakitu.
As of why.... I have no idea. But I can't get enough Lakitu.

hmmm its a toughy, but i'd say its a tie between Bob-ombs and Bullet Bills! I'm not sure why, but all those guys from World 8 are awesome!
 
The sun from level 2 of Super Mario Bros. 3. Seriously, who expected that thing to jump out of the sky and spend an entire level trying to kill you?

If that really isn't considered a character, then Luigi. Seriously, that guy has been getting bad press from the beginning, yet he is always there when his brother...or anyone else needs him.
 
Damn, I was hoping I'd be the first, but someone already said it.

I'm partial to Waluigi. I'm hopin' he gets his own game, even if it's just a lil' DS game.
 
Has to be Waluigi, I always thought it was funny they got Wario's name by flipping the M in Mario upside down and then used what is a nonsense prefix to make Waluigi.
