Controller issues

I have a Microsoft plug and play kit for my controller, but recently, I'm unable to unplug the controller before the Xbox yells at me to reconnect it. I think the kit is broken. It charges and either has a red or green light, and the guide button shows it with random battery life, but I can never unplug it, it always complains.

Should I look into a new plug and play kit or a new controller? I'd rather just get a new plug and play kit.

Sounds like the battery is toast. The bad news is they don't sell them separately from the play and charge kits any more

That sucks. I'd look into getting rechargeable batteries, since they last way longer than the play and charge kits and are cheaper. I've been using sanyo eneloops and like them a lot. I think it was $30 for 8 AA's and 2 AAAs
