From Magic Box:
"Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi said that Castlevania does not fit with Wii, because the Wii market is for people who want to have new experience, these type of people do not have time to play lengthy games like Castlevania; also he does not have a good idea to make use of the Wii controller in the game.
If this is true, a few points:
1. The Wii controller can be used as a, uhh, whip maybe?
2. No one likes long games? Zelda? Metroid? Why wouldn't someone want to play a long game on a console rather than the DS?
3. If a new one is to be made, though...please, God, don't let them model it off of the Ps2 Castlevanias.
Isn't this the same thing people used to say about the DS? "Well, the touch screen..." before they realized, you know, you don't have to use the touch screen. That's partly why I'm not so ready to believe it (in addition to the fact that there are two Castlevania games for the DS).
