Credit card price matching/protection/whatever it's called on video games?

Has anyone utilized credit cards with a price match type of policy?

I'm thinking of preordering some games at Best Buy (with the RZ points promo) which I hope to then price match (through credit card company) when sales start to pop up.

I think this is a question better suited for your credit card issuer. I believe one of my credit cards had a minimum price difference before I could file a claim so might vary by each credit card. Might be worth asking them on the phone or through a secure message if possible through the site.

well I know Discover has some form of this.

I really wanted to hear from someone that has done this with video games, in particular preorders.  There's many factors.  Also I don't want to say "yeah I know this game will drop in price so I want to buy day one then trade in and then get money back for when it goes on sale) etc

Gamestop/Bestbuy require a deposit instore, and I'm not sure how online purchases work with this kind of cc service.
