CSI Seasons...

My dad is a huge CSI fan, and i've been wanting to get him as many seasons as I can... but I dont wanna pay $40+ for each season. (Already got him 2 and 3)

Anyone know if these periodically go on sale for a good price, or is this basically their standard price nowadays?

To be honest, $40 standard is a good price. I started gathering them up maybe two years ago and they were costing $60. So I ended up buying them second-hand from small chains like disc recyclery.

Occasionally they do drop lower now. And if you catch any good holiday deals here I've seen them go down to as low as $20 for the first season or two. You may catch $30 sometime for any but season 7 seeing as how that just came out.

i always got them for ~$20 each used at the gamestop b2g1f sales. gamestop's by trying to get rid of their dvds recently but running the b2g1f sale all the time, so it'd be more difficult now than when i did it
