The weirdest thing has been happening to me. I have like 30-40 ping but I lag hella bad. I Don't know what is going on. Do you guys know any remedy to this?
 
Fix your rates in-game by way of console (~)!!!

type these in when you bring up console:

rate 30000
cl_updaterate 101
cl_cmdrate 101

that should fix your lag!

I would say this is a good comment, but my system has always run smoothly on full settings. This problem started like yesterday. Before that i didn't have problems at all.

It makes you current with what the server rates are so your not lagging behind when the server updates your position or shots that you fire.

In that case, background software? Antivirus intrustion? Spyware?
