is uplink any good? the pictures and description make it look...boring

Uplink is pretty nice if a hax0ring game appeals to you. If the idea of running password crackers to get into doods' systems sounds fun, go for it. The problem is that I cannot think of a way where, if it sounds boring, it isn't.
