Out of curiosity, is that cling wrap (Saran or otherwise) on some of your items?
Plastics made for foodstuffs has the tendency to become "sticky" over time and could result in damage to your items by peeling off the finish on paper surfaces. Cling wrap also doesn't allow much breathing room so condensation damage is also a possibility.
It's probably not going to happen but it's probably not the best idea either.
