DC Universe Online (PS3) $35.98 at Amazon

I got it for 25 and was a terrible purchase...not even fun enough to get through 30 day trial...

You're better off playing rift for mmo or infamous 2 to feel like a superhero...

Dc universe is a button masher that feels worse than a last gen spiderman game

CAUTION: Couple of things you should know before buying the game.

#1 -
This game requires a mandatory 16+ GB Installation requirement.

Plus, there are now quite a few more patches that need to be downloaded including a hefty 3 GB patch update bumping this up to about 18 - 19 GB once all is said and done.

This can take anywhere between 5 - 6 hours to complete if not more.

#2 -
It's still a monthly $15 subscription fee requirement.

^nice Marvel gifs man!!!
You have to buy this brand new, because somehow once you install the game, the disc is tied to your Ps3 account, so is useless for any new owners.

If you're a diehard comics fan then you will probably like it. I loved everything about it except for how it made my PS3 lock up constantly.
You can find it much less for $22 on Ebay brand new.

And about $12 used.

This will be $19.99 or less brand new even before Black Friday and it'll still be pricey with the monthly fees.
Apparently, used copies of DC Universe Online don't work on other PS3s. They have rootkit-like serial numbers that get registered to the first PS3 they come into contact with.

I'd be all over this for the collector's edition.

If I can't trade it in, I'm holding out to get that sweet Batman statue at a good price.
