Everyone probably knows this, but even if you pick up the game during the same month before you're able to use the coupon, you can bring the receipt in later and have them PM it and credit you the amount of the coupon back - or so said the guy at my BB today. Picked up the last copy of Homefront and planning on getting the $15 back come April 7th/8th.

Enuf, nice job on the Op with heads up on deals w/ coupons. Also the cross-referencing to BB forums. BB should pay you for the customer service you do on their behalf here, not to mention the extra traffic you generate for them.

Though they might be cursing you for all the ppl who are too keen about loss-leader items ($5 new games, etc) LOL.

The're really not losing it's all about a good mix to keep GC healthy. The $5-$15 games are supposed to increase $5 single issues to help eliminate the leftovers, $15 subs generate completely new revenue upfront & advertiser revenue throughout. Once they reach a target goal for subs then I'm sure there will be more deals included too as they can then used targeted coupons & sponsered mags to really highlight the top tier games...

Imagine the sales of COD if BB had 1 special issue of @gamer with coupons for all the previous COD's & a discount and/or extra credit coupon for the newest COD. The sales generated would be thru the roof + BB would be getting paid for having the mag exclusive to COD. Now this would be in addition to the reg. months mag as well so no worries to non COD fans.

BB's main goal is to become the best place to purchase games hands down doesn't matter if they're new or used. GS can easily be defeated when it comes to new games & no other retailer has a better gamers club. Walmart & Target can't afford to match all the deals straight up w/o getting the $5/$15 or else they will start to suffer & AMZ won't match the coupon deals.

Unless they changed it, my B2G1 was for new games >$39.99. Plus coupons for 50% off any guide, a coupon for accessories and percent off a downloaded game.

Ok, can someone answer a question. I have read the OP, read a ton of the thread, had some experience with it last week, and seeing conflicting things here, does the 10% off still stack with the $10 off used coupons?? Last week the store told me it wasn't working, and I read that here, then the OP in one area says it stacks, then the OP in another area says it doesn't, then some people say it does, and some say it doesn't...lol...any actually know?

It's supposed to stack, but due to the pre-owned games that were on sale getting glitched discounts from the GCU 10% they made the $10 off coupon not work at all by trying to fix it.

So in the end you have to now have them manually deduct the $10 and then manually deduct the 10% discount for your pre-owned game purchase.

This is because the 10% discount was applying and taking off 10% based on BOTH the original pre-owned game price and 10% off the discounted price. That's how people ended up getting $4.49 off games like Dead Island, since it took 10% off the $24.99 price AND the $19.99 sale price.

I see. Do you know if they fixed it yet? I did have to have them manually take off the discount and coupon on my order last week. I might have to do the same next week, but technically, it should work right? The gaming associate said it should work, but customer service didn't know what to do and kept calling the 10% off a sale, which is why the coupon would not work. Or something like that. The reason I ask is because I am trying to find the best deal to get Splinter Cell HD and Metal Gear HD. SC is on sale at Newegg right now, and if I can get the 10% and $10 off coupon on Metal Gear at BB, that would be a better deal for me then a B2G1 used w/ a flip of the third. Thanks for the info though. I think I will try my luck with the Best Buy $10/10% combo and hope it works the way it should.
 
I'm going to use the 10 buck off coupon today. I'll report back on how the discount works if nobody else confirms before me.
 
For any curious about when this will arrive in the mail, I received my copy of the magazine this morning. Nice turnaround time considering I just signed up at the beginning of March.

Cool! i signed up the day March Coupons officially went live. i think it was march 4th. Hopefully i get mine in the mail before sunday. or i'll probably buy a copy of the mag to get a 2nd set of coupons for the month. hehe!
 
I used the $10 off a preowned game on Zelda: Ocarina of Time today and there were no issues with the coupon ringing up right. Total came to $12.50 plus tax.

I can confirm that this is indeed working again.

Make sure you have them scan the Coupon AND Game BEFORE your RZ card. The order (game -> coupon OR coupon -> game) does not matter. I used 2 coupons (had them ring them up separately) and had them try both methods.

Got Blazing Angels 2 and White Knight Chronicles II for $12.49 each before tax.

Forgive my ignorance, but are these cards worth anything at all? My also has Pit (Rally Cry) but it looks like there are a few cards in that packet.

Hope my mag comes tommorow. If it does ill snag a homefront copy for my father as soon as it comes in the mail. I'll just wait the whole month for used resistance 3 copys to drop in price before using the coupon and if they don't ill use the coupon at the last minute still as 12$ is still a good price after its applied. Hope darkness 2 goes on sale for 29.99 or less at some point.

Yea its awsome ! Im getting him caught up on the assassins creed series right now. I told him to skip part 1 and he's loving part 2 right now. Ill get him brotherhood after he's done with 2 and when I'm done with revelations ill let him play it. We are also going to do some resistance 2 coop soon :)

Well you still have some time because the coupons are valid starting 4/8. I'm also hoping I get the magazine by Saturday, so I can use the coupons next Sunday.
 
I used my $10 off a used game coupon and can confirm it stacks with the 10% off. Also, the guy working the game kiosk (not the usual gamer girl), tore up my coupon right in front of me.

I've been giving my kid icarus cards to a fellow cheapie for free as I have no use for them. As for kid icarus uprising I'm going to attempt to trade it straight up for umvc3 the vita as the controls have made the game fustrating to play. I can't just lay down and play it either as I need the stand to play it
