Good luck for those of you going for the homefront plat. Lord of War is incredibly grindy. I will help if anyone wants to try to boost/grind it out tho. only trophy i have left til plat... but its a big one. completing all online challenges for weapons, vehicles and bots.

also my store is out of ps3 copies. but ill pick up a copy or two on 360 for friends. but... any flipping for this anywhere? already tried the main sites but zilch.

It's looks like you got the 10% off Homefront, but not Resistance. Resistance 3 should have been $11.50, right?

It kinda seems that way since I didn't get my10% unlocked on R3. Homefront was scanned first and I got the 10% on it.
 
Just picked up Homefront for $1.30 and Resistance 3 for $12.60ish

/edit: bought separately so I could get the 10% off on both just in case there was a computer error. Homefront looks pristine except there's no online code (which is fine, I already had one). Pretty sure Resistance 3 was brand new.

Kyle on the BBY forums said the "and" was supposed to an "or". Meaning the coupons is good when you just purchase 1 of the games. They said they should be sending a memo out shortly to the stores clarifying the coupon (but you know how long it took for the stores to read the coupons should stack memo...).

I just checked my receipt. Same thing happened to me. Not too confident I could get an adjustment now, especially since I don't have my physical coupon any more.

Picked up Homefront for $1.27 and The Darkness II for $10.59 after using my RZ certificate. I had to do 2 transactions but the guy didn't seem to mind.
 
The Best Buy I just went to on Eldorado in Frisco, TX marked up their copies of Homefront to $19.99. They had fresh new stickers over the old $17.99 stickers, pretty weak Best Buy, pretty weak! :nottalking:

Mine had the $19.99 sticker, too, but it still rang up as $17.99.

Enuf has tried correcting the issue by contacting Mike and Kyle but it still hasnt changed yet.

Enuf - any luck with a response from them lately about the 10% GCU discount not applying on mutiple preowned copies?

Not sure the only one that is close is on store specific manager clearance for $25 (yes I will be trying the coupon later tonight). Doubt the will allow it though
 
I'm glad I'm seeing people are getting Homefront for so cheap. I just got back from picking up my copy and they wouldn't honor my 10% discount because I used the coupon, even though I used both last month to get Dead Island. I wasn't about to argue for $1.80, so I just excepted that $3 is still a pretty good deal and walked out.

Rang up $17.99 but the cashier and supervisor wouldn't allow it and I was in a rush and didn't feel like arguing. I'll just go to another store, minor inconvenience, no biggie.

Tell them to stop being lazy and resticker the price drops... If they want to be hard and you want that little satisfaction contact a local DM and tell them. They'll get hit for both denying you a valid item and for not doing price drops properly as homefront fell 3 weeks ago.
 
picked up homefront 360, r3, and mvc3 ps3. homefornt and r3 rang with gcu 10% no problem, mvc3 still rang up as 17.99 even though website shows it as a weekly deal for 12.99. they had to manually adjust the price, which resulted in no gcu 10%. weak.
 
yeah i messed up last month and did 2 used purchases of dead island and 10% only comes off one. oh wellz, live and learn. i already have resistance 3 i dont think i need another... i got the last homefront at st louis crestwood bestbuy only a 360 copy left so ill give it to some bro i guess. peace all n thanx

wow just noticed resistance 3 is $24.50 new at amazon. thats a good deal too, not much for tivs tho.
fun game to play but i totally miss the resistance 2 co op with the medic/soldier/spec op. that was so much fun when it worked.

So I just got back from the infamous Pinole, CA store. HORRIBLE customer service, the girl Abigail (she claimed she was manager) had all sorts of rudeness and attitude, yelling at me and groaning loudly like I was trying to steal from them.

The GCU 10% used discount was stacking with the Homefront coupon successfully, but for some reason was not working on Resistance 3 or my 29.99+ game (Ico/Shadow). I tried the games separately, I tried them together, I tried different orders of scanning of game/coupon/RZ account, but the only one that worked correctly was Homefront.

When I tried explaining to Abigail, she kept refusing to manually discount the difference. She kept insisting that GCU was an "offer" so couldn't be combined with the coupons, even after the gaming department guy specifically told her they should work together. It took me almost an hour to get out of the store, eventually she issued a gift card for the GCU difference, which ended up screwing me out of about 60 cents in extra tax. WORST BEST BUY STORE EVER.

Sweet! Not only did they still have a Homefront left (only one I saw) so I got that for 1.27... But since I didn't get the 10% extra added to my last trade in, and since the time before that they actually gave me credit for the wrong game (and there was a $10 difference) I decided to email them. They got back to me already and credited me a $20 RZC! Now that used coupon won't go to waste...only question is what should I get?....

I would hold on to the steel driver and pilotwings coupon if I were you as there could be a sale for those games. What if they both go in sale for 14.99 or something ? You could use the coupon to get both for 10$ total and flip them or sell them or rather yet keep them

Yeah I didn't really think of flipping them. I don't own a 3DS and probably won't get one any time soon so I dont need to hang on to them I guess if nobody wants them, I'll consider flipping them. Thanks
