Shipping was $11CAN for 2 DVD Sets

One other thing do they do the exchange rate or do they bill you in the USA Doller ?
 
The Family Guy set now shows on the display page at $12 and change, but comes in the cart at $99 Canadian. This happen to anyone else? I ordered LOTR and Star Wars, and I'd get this one, had I gotten the good price.

Thanks for the code, but dont delete anything after you add the code. I did, and the code becomes invalid. Hopefully their CS will apply it. I ordered Band of Brothers.

That price on Lord of the rings is ridiculous.

Both BoB and FG are really $100.

BSG and Firefly are both more expensive now.

I say we sue the bastards because they are trying to trick people.

Yeah, I bet people were ordering like 500 copies of the LOTR trilogy. Ah well, maybe my little order of 1 will sneak through, but I highly doubt it.

So, does Amazon have someone who moniter sales and traffic? Im sure it was pretty funny for them when they started seeing all those international orders pouring in.
 
yeah.. it's been on fatwallet for along time.. it seems... also if this went through... i must learn to 'resist' to buy any dvd boxset and wait for superdeal down the road.. seem like i never have time to watch it anyway...eventhough i usually get the boxset at a big sale.. but once in a awhile this $5 or $10 boxset seem to be coming along... .

that happened to me as well; while i was trying to get it back the prices were jacked up. squeezed in aeon flux at 21.96 ($27.99US amazon site) and house m.d. S1 at 30.36 ($44.99US on U.S. amazon site); if you click on the desperate housewives link it shows 70.xx but add to cart and goes down to 37.16; but U.S. amazon site is around $39 so no bargain there.
 
Prices have been raised back up to sane levels. Didn't order anything myself, but good luck to any CAGer that gave it a try.
