DEAD Casino Royale 2-disc collector's edition blu ray @ Amazon 12.99

Hi all,

The difference between this one and the first release is they've put in the documentary/making-of extras on the 2nd disc? No difference on the original movie. Not like a Director or Extended Cut, is this correct?

YES! Thanks, OP. I remember when it was this price, didn't bite, and then they had that sudden jump to the 20's.

No, there's no difference in the film itself, it's still the cut American version. You do get new extras and deleted scenes though.

I wonder what the likelihood it is on a triple-dip on Casino Royale with the extended-cut. Why Sony didn't include it in this version of Casino Royale is still a mystery unless they're thinking of that hopefully in the not too distant future maybe two or three years from now when the next film comes out.
the extended cut is 30 seconds of extra footage right?
Less than that, probably 10 seconds total. Basically they made minor cuts to two scenes for the US to get a PG13, the fight/drowning in the bathroom at the beginning has been snipped, and then the scene where Bond is fighting the African with the machete on the stairs, they cut a little bit of it where Bond shoves his head into a window, and when he's choking him to death...

Ah yes, here's that scene uncut -

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping it doesn't cope to a triple dip. I waited long enough to pick this up, but if the third dip is just those ten seconds, I hope I can live without it. Of course, I probably can't.
