I mean, this site amazes me, people are buying the $100 DS, probably buying the $50 Micro, and will probably get a DS Lite as well. I mean, shit, I haven't touched my GBA at all since getting a DS, and a DS Lite will be better then anything else out there for both GBA and DS games.

These same people then bitch about the PS3's price, yet they are throwing who knows how much money towards systems they'll probably never touch.

Its still a good deal if you are planning to get the Micro and play the shit out of the Micro, but 80% of the people won't. Just a heads up to anyone blindly throwing $50 to stop and think for a minute.

I order a black one my boss gave me a $25 gift certificate for Christmas last year forgot all about till I was cleaning out my mailbox. Free money equals $35 Gameboy Micro. Not sure what I'm going to do with my 20th anniversary micro should sell it , but I think all end up keeping it..

damn, past 2 weeks ive bought a PSP, n-gage, DS, and now micro. but no games lol...only game i got was the nintendo dogs lol

My free toy Coupon code wouldnt work. I tried numerous times but kept getting "There is something wrong with your order that coupon code is not valid" :cry:

Did you add any toy, or the one from the special webpage they had?

As far as buying a micro compared to DS:

I prefer to play my GBA games on the GBA. I fell the DS is too big when I'm not using both screens like with a real DS game. Plus I wanted a micro since it came out.
 
so did people jut spend $150 like me for the DS and micro? good deals, but are u guys going to spend an additional $130 for the lite or jsut wait that one out?

Yes, I did. I'm gonna wait a while before buying the DS Lite. I'm hoping for more/better colors in the future. I'll probably get a Lite in late summer/early fall, asssuming enamel navy is available in the US buy then.

For me, the Micro is great for portability. The DS, not so much. I need both.
 
I bought a DS when it came out, now I bought a micro, mostly because I don't like playing GBA on my DS, or older GB games. $50 is cheap. Plus a free cranium game for the girlfriend.

How did you get the free toy? I'm having the same problem as others - and I added the same Magnetix toy I got for free with the DS last week.

true...thats the game i really want, i'm getting sick of nintendo dogs lol
also ive had my PSP for over a week, but cant even play it since no game or a memory card. these are great deals for the systems, but now i have to spend more for the games lol

I'm pretty sure you can only use the coupon code once.
 
I clicked the link to the page that had the selection of free toys, and I picked ranium. Put the coupon code in at the check out screen, took 19.99 off my price.

Course, this is on slickdeals.net now, so they may have ruined that.

I wouldn't get both Tiger Woods and True Swing unless you really like golf a lot. I think True Swing is supposed to be better (I have Tiger Woods and like it a lot but it is very glitchy)
 
You can use it more than once, I used it twice. I used it once when I ordered the Micro and Metroid. I placed that order seperate because I didn't want the Micro to sell out when I was browsing the other games (which took me another 20 minutes). I placed another order of just games for $60 and used the code again and got a 2nd Magnetix set

not a fan of golf really, jsut looking for decent cheap games lol...i would've gotten ape escape psp but its not $10 anymore. is virtua tennis psp worth it for 14.99 plus shipping at gamestop?

Damnit - why does Amazon keep doing this to me!?!?

I was thinking of getting the $50 GBA Micro for my youngest son, but now there's the Mario Kart DS bundle. Hard to pass that up at $100 considering the value relative to the Micro. But do I really need a 4th DS? :D I wouldn't mind the second Mario Kart so my older son and I can play some more serious multiplayer Mario Kart, but...
 
damn now that i think bout it for $50 more , is it worth it to get another ds with mario kart, than just the micro for $50?

Well, I can't get the coupon to work again for me. I used it last week on the Nintendogs DS bundle and can't get it to work with the Micro. I tried 3 different "free" toys and it won't work with any - I'm clicking on the link to the list of free toys, selecting one, adding to cart and then putting in the TYRTUFREETOY code.

It's wierd - I know these toys are useless, but if I can't get that with the deal then I'm not going to do it. I guess that saves me $55 :D.
 
Maybe they updated it and are now only allowing it to be used once? They did update the free toys page because the 124 pc set no longer ships free but some other sets do. Maybe when they updated that they changed it so it can only be used once.

Must be - I also tried it with the Mario Kart DS bundle (in case it didn't work on $50 items like the micro even though it says $50 or more). Still no dice. Oh well, like I said, saves me $50 or $100 :D. I'm still tempted to get that Micro though :whistle2:k
 
need games now lol. i dont have any gba, psp games at all. i'm stuck with nintendo dogs. any deals out there for GTA:LC for PSP? sicne i have the 2.6 firmware i need it to play homebrew
 
looks like I got in at the last second. I went back and forth all afternoon on whether or not my DS needed some company.

then someone mentioned that the deal was showing up on slickdeals and I made my mind up in a hurry ;)

Yeah, I didn't bite at first because I figured it would be back like the Nintendogs and AC DS bundles that came back in stock several times. But the fact that they've raised the price instead of saying it it OOS is a bit troubling. We'll see - just have to keep checking.
