I apologize in advance if this is a dupe (I searched and couldn't find anything). Best Buy has the newly released GITS 2.0 Blu-Ray for $13.99 both in store and online.

FYI: The Blu-Ray includes the original version of the film

On a somewhat related note I've noticed that Best Buy has been getting bad about listing one price on their website and having a higher prince in their store again...

Seemed well worth the $13.99 + tax from that review.

I purchased it myself in store for $13.99. The sticker price was $13.99 but it came up #13.99 at the register. And in store pickup is also available for GITS

It's part of Best Buy's 30% off Blu-Ray sale. $19.99 blu-rays are $13.99.

This also includes Blood: The Last Vampire and Sukiyaki Western Django. Add in the current 10% off as well (that actually applies) and it's pretty good.

I just watched it this morning and it was fantastic. I've seen the original multiple times and they did a fantastic job cleaning it up.

Dead, $19.99 now online. Fingers crossed its instore tomorrow for those of you that still want it. For GitS, without getting the home video treatment it deserves(full restoration, multiple docs, actual red carpet). $14 seems like a fair price.

The video is a little soft in my opinion but considering the horrible source material it isn't bad at all.
