(DEAD) Halo Reach Limited Ed. $26.99 Ebay Daily Deal

Is this worth it for someone who has never played a Halo game before and will only play the single-player campaign, but who has a soft spot for in-universe goodies?

I can only guess that they meant to put in the price as 99.00 and forgot the period, so it came out to 9900.

yes... personally this is my favorite Halo game, (I know a lot will disagree)... but the story is great, and characters are great. plus the multiplayer is fun, but definitely more so with friends. as for the extras in this LE... they're extremely mediocre and just seem cheap, the whole package seems just tossed together. i guess there's a bit of backstory and such in the writings in journal that might be neat if you're really really into the Halo universe, but while I like Halo a lot, I just can't imagine anyone caring that much about any of these extras. there's a few codes that come with it that go for a bit on ebay, and are used for customizing your spartan/elite armors.

the game alone is definitely worth playing, and is a sort of prequel to the other Halo games so you don't need to play those first or anything. you may be able to find the base game cheaper elsewhere though.
