- Beginning 12:00:01 AM EDT on Monday September 1st, 2008 through 11:59:59 PM EDT on October 13th, 2008 (the 'Contest Period'), log on to www.noknownsurvivors.com (the 'Site') and follow the instructions to register for the Ishimura Aptitude Test. Entrants can enter the quiz section of the www.noknownsurvivors.com web site through the designated "Ishimura Aptitude Test" terminal on the web site. LOGIN or REGISTER and begin working on the questions provided in the Ishimura Aptitude test terminal. Each week there will be between six (6) and ten (10) new questions updated on the page in a new section of the www.noknownsurvivors.com web site. Each time an entrant would like to complete new questions he or she will have to LOGIN or REGISTER. All questions will be free-form text submissions; all questions are displayed on one page with a global SUBMIT button at the bottom. Text fields with no content are treated as an incorrect answers. Upon submission, answers are validated, and data is returned to entrant with the number of questions answered correctly and the number of questions answered incorrectly, which answers were incorrect, which answers were correct, and an update to the total number of points accrued to that date by the entrant.
- Entrants; scores are displayed in a global "Total Score" area referred to as the leaderboards at deadspace.ea.com/noknownsurvivors. Returned questions with CORRECT answers are locked and cannot be accessed again. For questions with INCORRECT answers, entrants are locked from resubmitting answers until the following day. Each new day begins at 12:01am EDT . Other than as noted above, entrants are able to go back to previous outstanding questions at any time throughout the Contest Period and submit answers.
- SCORING
- 1. On Monday of each week during the Contest Period between six (6) and ten (10) new questions will be added to the Site. A correct answer to each question is worth 10 points on the Monday that thequestion is released.
- 2. Each correct answer to a question loses 20% of its value at 12:00:01 AM EDT each day following the Monday release of the question until Friday of the week the question was released. See the chart below illustrating scoring.
- 3. On and after the first Friday following the release of a question, the point value for each correct answer to such question shall be and remain 2 points through the end of the Contest Period.
