Just to clarify, the Triton headset is still in working condition, correct? What do you mean by shorts out? I assume it will go higher and would just like a little more info if I'm gonna be chasing it around 

 
Ok gotcha. I got some Turtle Beach X12's a couple years ago, which worked fine for a good year, then the mic randomly went out. After a couple months, the sound also went out, rendering them useless... I thought an expensive headset would actually last! Boy was I wrong..

 
Yeah I bought an extra mic for it but GameStop had a deal on a TB so I bought it and been using it. I figure someone more tech savvy than myself would find it to be a diamond in the rough and fix the mic problem quick

Haha I manage a rental company in my town and work for the local paper nights after that. On rare nights I have off at the paper I still can't get to sleep before 2 or 3 a.m.
