Ok, I'm not sure how many international CAGs we have here, because this deal is kind of moot if you live in the US (it's only $3 more for a new one), but this can be a good deal if you live in a country where DSs' MSRP is really high or they're hard to get.

Right now, DealExtreme has refurbished DS lites in for 117 USD, with free international shipping.
DX is located in Hong Kong, and they're slow as hell getting stuff shipped, but they're a trustworthy site, and it does eventually get to you.

I don't know if anyone will find this deal useful, but I figured I'd post it anyways.

i can vouch for trustworthy. i've bought a few flashcards from them. slow shipping, but free anywhere and it does eventually get to you ;)

i think the shipping would be rather fast since they are giving a free upgrade to ems shipping! ems would probably take 2-3 days to ship, sometimes even overnight. plus there will be tracking.
hmm they have 120gb xbox 360 hdd's for $79.35 shipped there to.
Those are basically guaranteed to be upgraded HDDs that use the public hddss.bin file, not the official 120 GB HD.

As much as I love ordering from and promote/suggest DX on CAG for anything cheap and/or weird, I would highly suggest not getting a refurbed DS from them.

Consider this the exact equivalent of buying a refurbed DS from eBay from a seller who hasn't personally tested the quality or functionality of the item they're selling. DX return policy is good, but it's really not worth the small savings on such an expensive and special item like a DS.

read on for more details of why I think so...

All of their stock for everything they have consists of other companies offering it through DX. They've made that very clear on many products that don't really have a description. They add to the description and change it accordingly as customers chime in with comments about it. They also mention frequently about contacting the supplier to find out more info about certain products when asked.

Overall, they're a great company, but only if you want cheap (as in price and quality, most items being a knockoff clone version unless specifically mentioned) items that you usually can't get at all in the U.S. or only at a very high price with slightly higher quality.

9 out of 10 times their extremely low price offsets the lower quality, but not in this case.

...however:

Refurbed DS Lite, no. Pig Light for $1.06 shipped, definitely. (They have a cow light now as well)

Super-tiny MicroSD card reader for $2.34 shipped, my favorite DX item ever (I use it daily):

SHIPPING: 2-3 weeks on everything I've ever ordered. EMS shipping does not equal quicker shipping, simply tracking and a signature requirement upon delivery. Any order over $20ish gets automatic EMS added, sometimes I'll purposely split my orders to avoid it. It's rather annoying missing the mailman and having to wait even longer for your magical mystery package from Asia.

I'll vouch for them, I pretty much pick up stuff from them every month last year. O yea and the 360 harddrives will get you banned on live because they use recycled hard drive shells. (atleast thats what I was told)

I have to agree with Kerig on this one. The savings is so small, that it does not make sense to order from them on this occassion.
Yes, I've gotten everything I've ordered from them, but none were ever over $100.00 or as delicate as a DS Lite.
