Defense Grid: The Awakening - Free on XBL

AS part of the “Games With Gold” program announced at E3 in June, I wanted to give you a heads uthe next title will be Defense Grid: The Awakening. Normally 800 Microsoft Points, Defense Grid: The Awakening will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members July 1st through July 15th.

I still don't see it.  What do they need to update it today or something?

And I'm still seeign it as 800 MP

Its not a bad game. But its a real big step down from fable 3. Also the fact they mentioned Halo 3 or Assassin's Creed II off the bat kind of made my expectations really high, that they were really cared about there fan base rather than distracting us from their competition with the whole bait and switch.

Supposed to be pretty decent but a small arcade game isn't what I was expecting and it's pretty old - I think Steam was giving it away during the 2011 Holiday Sale for free.

It is a great tower defense game, and I think it is regarded as one of the better ones. Thanks for the reminder OP.

As for Halo 3 and AC being free, I still think they will be - just not right now.
