How much do steelbooks cost?

When I look at my DVD collection (about 800 movies), got most of those for between $10-$15, and look at how much money I spent, paying too much extra for a case that a couple years down the road I won't care about seems like something I'd ultimately regret.

Hell right now I find good Blu-Rays for $10 here and there.

Are steelbooks for rich people?

I thought they were steelbooks. I only saw one once in a store, never having known such a thing existed. According to wikipedia, all 4 versions (Xbox, GC, PS2, and PC) came in the metal box. If it's actually "Steelbook", god only knows.

I've looked for one too and bid for one on eBay. It's pretty common in the UK, but unfortunately few of them are willing to ship to America.

Amazon.co.uk actually has plenty for a reasonable price (roughly $20-30), but again unfortunately they do not send to the US. If you have a friend in the UK, or even just Europe, then you might be able to get them to buy it for you and send it to you.
