Is there a way to test to see if a Playstation Network code is still valid without using it?

If you get on your 360 you can input the codes and you can choose whether or not you want to use it. On that same note, if you do it on xbox.com, the code is used as soon as you enter it.

I want to see if a code I have works, but I don't actually want to use it.

Any help is appreciated.

So just because I'm worried...

Got it downloaded and it has me sign in. It doesn't actually USE the code does it? Can anyone else verify? I'd just really rather trade it to someone but would rather make sure it works first.

You can check online from your computer, log into playstation account management and go to redeem psn code but before finalizing it gives you the option to cancel and not redeem.
